St. Leonards School
The school is located on land of the former Chester Harris farm. The school-church building was completed and the first mass was offered in the church on July 1, 1959. The building had eight classrooms, a library, a gym, all purpose room and a cafeteria.
The school formally opened in 1960 with six grades. The faculty consisted of three Sisters and three lay teachers. The 7th and 8th grades were added later.
